We can assist our customers through the necessary steps of
dispute resolution and the appraisal process. After an injury
and an appraisal of the loss there may be a dispute over the amount
of damages.
If you have a disagreement with a responsible party over the
amount of damages, under most cases there are defined means for
resolving a dispute. It is important that you are educated on processes available
to you.

The Appraisal Process
The appraisal process, provided under most policies, allows the vehicle
owner and their insurer to each choose an appraiser and umpire
to arrive at an agreement on the amount of loss.
If you are not aware of this provision provided under your auto
policy you may be settling your damage claim without entirely
exercising your rights. If there is a dispute over the value of the loss to your
vehicle, most policies allow for the vehicle owner to demand the
appraisal process.
We have appraisers that work for the vehicle owner in the appraisal
process to establish the amount of losses due after an injury
and negotiate your claim with the opposing appraiser.
If choosing an independent appraisal service ask if they regularly
do work with or for the responsible party - if they do, it may
be difficult for them to represent YOUR interests without bias.
